- Well, first of all I'd recommend sticking to a 14.4 modems, sicne
- 28.8 modems only fax at 14.4 anyway. Next, you could probably get by very
- nicely with your basic Rockwell modem and Class 2 FAX software. Since
- Rockwell is just about the only company to make Class 2 FAX products
- (Zyxel's the only other company I can think of) they're all pretty much
- the same, and all software is writing specificaly for these modems. I've
- used a GVC modem with very good success when it came to faxing, much
- better then any of the good data modems I've tried (eg AT&Ts, Motorolas
- and USRs).
